About Glo

Glo Skin Beauty was founded in 2000 by a leading plastic surgeon who recognised that the same standard of formulation used in clinical treatment settings could, and should, be available for professional and home use. The brand launched with two distinct lines — Glo Therapeutics for clinical skincare and peels, and Glo Minerals, one of the first complete professional mineral makeup lines. Those lines unified under the Glo Skin Beauty name in 2017.

Glo Skin Beauty is a professional-only skincare and makeup brand with over 25 years of clinical heritage. The range spans active skincare, professional mineral makeup, and a back bar of clinical in-office treatments. In the UK and Ireland, Glo Skin Beauty is distributed exclusively by Glo Skin Beauty UK & Ireland Ltd, through a network of accredited clinics, medspas, and professional beauty salons.

No. Glo Skin Beauty is deliberately not available in supermarkets, department stores, high street pharmacies, or on Amazon. We distribute exclusively through accredited professionals — this is a conscious decision, not a distribution gap. It exists because the right skincare recommendation requires a professional who knows your skin.

Yes. Glo Skin Beauty is fully vegan and certified cruelty-free by PETA under the Beauty Without Bunnies programme. No animal testing is conducted at any stage — by Glo or by our suppliers on our behalf. Our EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) is synthetic bioidentical — it is not animal-derived.

Glo Skin Beauty products are manufactured in Denver, Colorado, USA.

Products & Ingredients

EGF stands for Epidermal Growth Factor — a naturally occurring signalling protein that tells skin cells to repair, renew, and regenerate. It is one of the most clinically-evidenced anti-ageing ingredients in professional skincare literature. Glo's EGF is synthetic bioidentical, meaning it replicates the molecular structure of natural EGF precisely, without using animal-derived sources. Our EGF Drops Serum delivers bioidentical EGF alongside a precision complex of peptides, niacinamide, and barrier-supporting actives.

Clean has a specific meaning at Glo: every formula is free from parabens, talc, artificial fragrance, irritating sulfates, phthalates, harsh colorants, polyethylene beads, and mineral oil. Clean does not mean passive. Our actives — EGF, retinol, glycolic acid, Vitamin C, niacinamide — are chosen for clinical evidence. They are serious ingredients included because they produce measurable change in the skin.

Many Glo formulations are specifically designed for sensitive and post-procedure skin. The professional mineral makeup range is particularly well-suited to post-treatment use. For personalised product selection, we recommend visiting a Glo Pro clinic — your practitioner can assess your skin and recommend the right products for your specific condition and treatment programme.

Glo Skin Beauty began with two distinct professional lines — Glo Therapeutics (clinical skincare and chemical peels) and Glo Minerals (professional mineral makeup). Both are now unified under the Glo Skin Beauty brand. The skincare range focuses on active, results-driven formulations for home and in-clinic use. The mineral makeup range is built around skin-first mineral pigments — breathable, non-comedogenic, and suitable for post-procedure skin.

Yes. Chemical peels are part of Glo's professional heritage — the brand was founded, in part, on the conviction that clinical-grade peel results should be accessible for professional use. Glo offers a full range of professional back bar peels for in-clinic use, as well as at-home peel formulations — the first professional peel collection designed for patient self-use. These are available through Glo Pro clinic stockists.

For Patients

Glo Skin Beauty is available exclusively through accredited professional clinics and salons. Use the clinic locator at /pages/clinic-locator to find your nearest Glo Pro stockist in the UK or Ireland.

Yes — some Glo Pro clinics operate Managed Stores: branded online shops where their patients can order directly. Find your nearest stockist via the clinic locator and ask whether they have an online store. We do not sell direct to consumers from this site.

Samples are provided at the discretion of individual Glo Pro clinics. Contact your nearest stockist directly. Many clinics offer skin consultations as part of which they will recommend and sometimes sample Glo products appropriate for your skin.

The best way is a consultation with a Glo Pro clinic. Our products contain professional-grade actives — the right product depends on your skin type, concerns, and any treatments you're undergoing or have recently had. A Glo Pro practitioner can assess your skin and recommend a home-care protocol matched to your needs.
